Feasibility works

We will work with the client to review and size the plant so that it works for the current supply targets and is also future proofed, matching the clients’ strategic goals both in the short and longer terms.

A solid foundation carried out at the feasibility stage allows the successful development of the wider system.

Detailed Design

With the changing requirements for carbon reduction, FVB have the experience to provide support in the engineering and/ or the re-engineering of energy centres to low or zero carbon options, working in partnership with clients and stakeholders to ensure that the proposed designs are aligned to the strategic targets set for the project.

Projects that FVB have undertaken include the connection of heat sources from Energy from Waste (EfW) plants, heat pumps, boiler systems and Combined Heat & Power (CHP) plants.

Your heat production assets need to be properly documented. FVB can provide the support to document existing systems, allowing informed decisions to be made on operational elements, future development and works to the energy centre infrastructure.

FVB also undertakes survey works for new and existing systems to allow a full 3-dimensional picture to be created of the services.

Construction and Commissioning Support

FVB can provide supporting services for the build out phases of energy centres. In the role of owners engineer we can provide technical support to clients ensuring that the construction phase aligns to the design intent and issues that are noted are resolved in a timely fashion.

The commissioning phase is a critical step in reaching initial optimisation goals for the system. In this area FVB can provide supporting services for oversight and checking and also for commissioning activities.
